We are proud to announce that OpenCorporates has been named one of the fastest growing companies in Europe in a Financial Times report released today.
The ‘FT 1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies’ is a list of the top 1,000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth.
Whilst the ranking’s methodology covers revenue growth between 2017 and 2020, since then we have focused on our go to market strategy and expanded our team into the US – which has driven our growth and helped us scale even faster still.
Our growth, and this recognition, illustrates the huge demand for transparent company data to solve a range of business challenges from verification to building a tech product. To be included in the list, developed by the Financial Times and research firm Statista, companies had to demonstrate that their revenue growth was “primarily organic”, and not driven for example largely by acquisitions.
In response, Sarah Arana-Morton, CEO of OpenCorporates, said: “I am delighted that OpenCorporates has been recognised as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies. OpenCorporates has grown under our own steam and our growth is driven by the uptick in demand we are experiencing for a new type of high qualIty company data. It is a clear endorsement of our disruptive strategy to lead the market for transparent company data”.
“But this is just the beginning. We have bold ambitions to accelerate our growth and to fulfil our mission to open up access to the world’s company data for the benefit of all”.
This news comes off the back of a raft of developments that signal our growing momentum, including: the appointment of a new CEO and CTO, the formation of our Operating Board and our shortlisting for the Best KYC Solution category in the RegTech Insight Awards Europe 2022.
